Master of Divinity
Overview
The Master of Divinity is considered the professional degree of ministry. It is often the requirement for ministerial employment, and it serves as the prerequisite for entrance into most doctorate programs. Our Master of Divinity consist of 96 credit hours in which 12 of those credit hours make up a concentration in either Biblical Exposition, Theology, Apologetics, Counseling, or Preaching. The student may customize their degree to fit their specific ministry needs by choosing a concentration. Our Master of Divinity is purposefully heavy in the area of Bible (48 credit hours), Theology (18 credit hours), and Apologetics (15 credit hours). We desire our graduates to have advanced knowledge and skills in the area of theology and biblical exposition combined with the ability to gracefully articulate and defend their biblical view. The capstone of the degree is the student's choice of a thesis, ministry project, or a comprehensive exam.
